What began as a group of friends united by a shared passion for motocross has evolved into one of the most recognized and respected motocross teams within the Latvian motorsport community. GF Racing stands today as a testament to how enthusiasm, consistency, and purpose can transform a hobby into a meaningful force in the sport.
Founded by Gints Filipsons, a former top MX2 rider in Latvia, the team carries forward a legacy built on experience and dedication. Following a successful motocross career, Gints transitioned into enduro, where he achieved strong results both locally and internationally. Today, he applies that experience to developing the next generation of motocross riders.
At the heart of GF Racing is a clear mission—to build the future of Latvian motocross from the ground up. From complete beginners on 50cc bikes to emerging talents, the team focuses on developing fundamental riding skills, discipline, and the mindset required for competitive motocross. The vision is ambitious yet grounded: to nurture riders who could one day compete at the highest international level..

Kārlis Sabulis is one of Latvia’s most recognised motocross riders, representing the country at the highest level of international motocross for many years. As a former professional motocross athlete, he has played a key role in establishing Latvia and the Baltic region as a strong presence in the global motocross scene.
Kārlis has proudly represented Team Latvia in the Motocross of Nations—often referred to as the “Motocross Olympics”—contributing to some of the country’s strongest results in the event. Throughout his career, he has competed at a high level across Europe, fighting for podium positions in the EMX250 European Championship, securing a Vice Champion title in the ADAC MX Masters, and consistently placing among top riders in the MX2 World Championship.

Kārlis Sabulis is one of Latvia’s most recognised motocross riders, representing the country at the highest level of international motocross for many years. As a former professional motocross athlete, he has played a key role in establishing Latvia and the Baltic region as a strong presence in the global motocross scene.
